Beverly LeFlore-Woodson
Beverly is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Laboratory Technology.
Beverly has always had a great desire and felt it her responsibility to help others in any capacity necessary. From childhood to adulthood her focus has been to serve and come to the rescue of any being or creature in need. With the untimely and unnecessary death of her nephew, Jeremy LeFlore, the passion grows stronger and stronger each day. Beverly has more than 30 years of experience with “At Risk” and “The Hard To Serve” youth and adult population seeking employment and mentoring. She has worked with and collaborated with Community Leaders and Organizations as well as Employers in finding unique ways to assist the unemployed and under employed with job readiness skills, job search techniques, job referrals and job placement.
Beverly has worked for and with a number of Non-Profit Agencies creating and presenting modules and materials for the purpose of training and self-sufficiency
As a Retiree, she continues this work and extends job readiness assistance and other services to individuals in need with a special emphasis to ex-offenders while affiliated with numerous facilities, organizations and Program Directors to aid in their successful transition back into society to become sound and creditable citizens.
Labeled as a “Compassionate Fatiguer” Beverly presses on tirelessly to serve as many individuals as she can to make a positive difference in their lives.
